In this activity we will learn how to perform linear static
analysis on the beam using a 1D element.We will learn the various options
available while defining the 1D element and check for structures that can be
analyzed using 1D lements.</div>

     a line as per details and enter the simulation environment.</li>

     1D elements in meshing selecting the beam as cross section.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Apply
     shape and size of the cross section.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Apply
     the relevant materials to the cross section created.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Specify
     the load and constraints.</li>

     to check the result.</li>

     Environment…</b> it opens the sketcher environmental window.</li>

     select the plane and sketch a figure by specified dimensions </li>

     to <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Start > Advanced Simulation…</b>
     it opens the NX Nastran window.</li>

     Manager is opened under name Simulation Naviga… here the part is displayed
     the Menu Manager for example <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">‘<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">model 1’</i></b>.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Right
     Click on <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">‘<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">model 1’</i></b>. And select New FEM and SIMULATION option.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Now a
     Menu Manager is open of New FEM and SIMULATION here we must enable <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Geometry Options </i>which we are
     looking for and close the menu</li>

     closing the Geometry Options Menu Manager. It opens another Menu Manager
     which is Solution Menu Manager here we enable the Case Control as per our
     requirement and select the Solution type Analysis type solver then click
     on OK.</li>

     select Fem Idealization from the Simulation File Manager.</li>

Sim option in Simulation File Manager.</div>

the Solve Icon it’s finally shows the Job finished and then close it.</div>
