How to use Swept blend in Pro/E

Command Used: Swept Blend

Swept Blend:

 The swept blend features is a combination of both sweep and blend. To create the Swept blend feature, you have to define the origin trajectory and multiply sections.

1.First create a Sketch figure after selecting the plane.
2. Click Insert > Swept Blend from the main menu.Select the trajectory curve and click the yellow arrow to flip the direction of the trajectory.
3. Slect Sections tab in the dashboard.Click Slected Selections.Select the first section.
4. Click insert from the sections tab. Select the second section.
Insert the intermediate section
5. Click Section 1 from the section tab.
       Click Insert.(Do not select any sections.)
       Notice that a new section 2 has been added sfter section 1 in the sections list.
       Click Remove.
6. Select the section 1 mode from the model to activate it.
       Right-click and select Insert Section.
       Select the section.
       Notice the refined shape of the blend
Control the cross-sectional area at a specified location and complete the model.
7. Select the Options tab from the dashboard.
       Click Set cross-section area control.
       Right-click and select Area Ctrl Reference.Select the vertex.
8. Type a value 1 for the Area Value in the Options tab and press ENTER.
9. Select Solid from the dashboard.Click Complete Feature icon.
