Pad

Step 1: Goto Mechanical Design > Part Design….

Step 2: Select the plane and click of Sketch Task Environment and it directly takes you to Sketchy Window.

Step 3: Here select any Sketch tool to Sketch a Profile; I selected Rectangle Sketch tool to sketch a profile as shown in images, And given the specified value. ThenExit Sketch Task Environment

Step4: Now select the Pad icon and give the specified value here I gave a value by selecting the profile sketch then choose reverse direction to appear pad on both sides.click on OK.

Finally Pad part  is created.

Rest of Part Design Tool Used:

Shaft

It is revolve option it is familiar to those who used this tool in PRO-e, Solidworks and NX cad

Groove

It is a revolve cut option this too familiar.

Hole

Select the profile where you want to place and then click oh Hole tool new table will be visible in that extension, Type and thread option will be there on extension is ask about depth and diameter of bolt. next is type option their will be differ in types Simple, Tapper, counter bore, counter sunk, and counter drilled and Last option is thread type.

Pocket

- it a extrude cut option  create a rectangle and select the pad icon give the value then click okay 

- next click the profile surface and go to sketch task enviroment and then create profile such like square, rectangle, ellipse, circle, hexogonal,and triangle and click on pocket give the value and then okay.
