Mirroring the Surfaces:
 The Mirror tool is used to mirror the surface about a plane.This tool becomes in the Edit Feature toolbar only,when a surface is selected.

To Mirror a surface:
1. Select the surface to be mirrored.
2. Click the Mirror Tool icon or choose Edit > Mirror...from the Main Menu.The Mirror dashboard appears.
3.Select the Mirror plane for mirroring the surface object.
4. Set  the Options as dependent copy or independent copy in the options tab of the Mirror dashboard.
5. Click Tik Mark to complete the task.

Creating the Fill Surface:
 The FILL tool is used to create a planar surface by sketching its boundaries.

The following task explains how to create a fill surface;
1. Open the part file_surface.prt.
2. Choose Edit > Fill...from the Main Menu.The Fill dashboard appears.
3. In the Reference tab, click define button and select DTM1 as the sketch plane.
4. Click Sketch button in the Sketch dialog box and enter the sketch enviroment.
5. Sketch a circle along the edge of the top frustum.
6. Exit the sketcher.
7. Click Tik icon in the Fill dashboard to complete the geometry.
This completes the task.A filled surface is now created.

Creating an Offset Surface:
With the Offset tool, you can copy a surface with an offset distance.
To create an offset surface:
1. Select the surface to offset.
2. Choose Edit > Offset...from the Main Menu.The Offset dashboard appears.

for a standard offset, choose ane of the options:
   - Normal to Surface
   - Automatic Fit
   - Controlled Fit
Normal to Surface: Creates an offset surface normal to the base surface.Enter the value of the offset distance in the control box.
Automatic Fit: Automatically fits in the X,Y and Z directions.
Controlled Fit: If you select the controlled fit radio button,you also need to select a coordinate system in order to specify the direction of the offset.
You can offset a surface with draft and expansion offsets,using the offset tool.
